Lennox Lehmann can’t wait to race after final pre-season tests

Final steps before the EURO MOTO season

With the start of the 2026 EURO MOTO season approaching, Lennox Lehmann completed the final pre-season tests in Valencia and Aragón. In strong conditions with fast rider groups, the focus was on final adjustments and building confidence on the Yamaha R9.

The Yamaha-supported Team APRECO used the test days to further refine the overall package under ideal track conditions.

Focus on setup and rider feeling

Lennox Lehmann used the test days to work on the base setup and to build a consistent feeling on the bike. With extensive track time available, the team was able to make targeted adjustments and further develop the overall package.

“The Valencia test went well. For the first time, we had the fully finished bikes available,” said Lehmann.  “We worked a lot on the suspension and also on the engine brake, and now we continue that work in Aragón to improve the overall feeling.”

The structured approach allowed him to steadily improve his confidence on the Yamaha R9 and build a solid foundation ahead of the season.

Long winter, clear focus on racing

After an intensive winter with a high workload and many kilometres on track, the final tests marked an important step towards race conditions.

“It’s been a long winter with a lot of riding, but I’m really looking forward to going racing again soon,” Lehmann added.

Ready for the season start

With the final tests completed, Lennox Lehmann heads into the 2026 EURO MOTO season with a well-prepared package and a clear focus on the upcoming races.

The work done with Team APRECO in Valencia and Aragón provides a strong base to build on as the season approaches.
