Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic Leukaemia
Max was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the age of five. He underwent treatment for two years. Today, he continues to inspire with his strength.

2011
Max's first bike Yamaha PW50
Not long after Max finished treatment he got on his PW50 and started getting on the track.

2012 - 2015
Winning first championships
He quickly progressed to the 65 class and 80 modified class, before moving up to an 85cc machine not long after. He raced dirt track for just over two years, winning two Australian championships and five state championships.

2017 - 2019
The journey continues on track
He competed in the 150 class throughout 2017 and 2018, securing the championship title in 2018. That same year, he also made his debut in the Australian Supersport 300 class, winning multiple races in his rookie season. In 2019, he narrowly missed out on the championship, finishing second by just one point.

2020-2021
Stepping up to Supersport 600
He competed in the Supersport 600 championship in 2020 and 2021. Despite two challenging, Covid-affected seasons with only five race meetings each year, he secured third place in the championship both years and claimed multiple race wins along the way.

2022 - 2024
From Rookie to Front Runner!
From 2022 to 2025, he competed in the Superbike category, starting out as part of a family-run team with the support of team owner Heath. After a challenging rookie season, he made major progress, securing podium finishes in 2023 and regularly fighting for podiums and race wins in 2024, ultimately finishing fourth in the championship despite an injury-hit season.

2025
Joining Factory Yamaha
In 2025, he joined Factory Yamaha. Following the setback of major injuries, it became a challenging season for both him and the team.

Alongside his domestic racing, he completed the iconic Suzuka 8 Hours EWC twice and made a MotoAmerica wildcard appearance in 2025, gaining valuable international experience.

Signing with Team APRECO
For 2026, he signed with Team APRECO to race the new Yamaha R7 in the EURO MOTO Sportbike Championship, beginning an exciting new chapter in Europe.
